To play hockey children must have their own mouth guard and shin pads. Sticks can be borrowed if necessary. Any questions regarding sizes etc please ask any of the coaches at training. Normal trainers/astros are fine although hockey astros offer more grip and protection against being hit. Studs or blades must not be worn.
Colts can come to training in any kit but once they start playing matches they are required to play in club kit. We play in maroon shirts, black shorts and maroon or maroon/white socks, the girls normally wear green skorts. We also have maroon hoodies which can be personalised with their names on the back. For any kit enquiries or orders, please get in contact with Katharine.
All shirts have numbers on the back, please contact Katharine before purchasing to check that the number you would like is not already in use this season.
Hockey is a winter sport and it can get very cold, we play whatever the weather unless the pitch is frozen!! Gloves area highly recommended, with a grip if possible or just woolly ones as well as a hat and hoodie/coat.
